Current Ministry
We are working in the large city of Cluj working with missionary Brian Nibbe. He started a church here in the year 2000.
Five years ago brother Nibbe was diagnosed with cancer. Today he is cancer-free, but it had its toll on his health and he is getting older. He needed a younger man with a family to continue the work and start new ministries. In March 2024, Brother Nibbe asked us if we would consider coming moving to Cluj and working in the church. The timing, the doors that closed and opened were amazing. Rodica and I knew without a doubt is was the will of God for us to move and work with brother Nibbe. In fact, if we did not move we believed we would be disobeying God.
The first three months of 2025 have been very busy and full. We started a Children’s Church, College/Career trips, and a Sunday evening family night. We also had our weekly evangelism, had our missions conference in March and also continued expanding our church music ministry.
We are also in the process of starting a Christian School which is a huge undertaking and will take much time, money, and a miracle from God to open,
This year we will continue starting new ministries and take on more responsibilities.
I praise the Lord for opportunities to serve our Saviour in Romania. We truly enjoy it and would not want to do anything else. I have learned after nearly 18 years that missionary work is a marathon, not a sprint. God just desires that we stay faithful, continue preaching his word, and patiently wait for fruit.
I thank God for what He has done and what He’ll do in the future!
The Bible says in Proverbs 16:3, “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”
That is my prayer, that God will continue to establish and bless the work he has given us!
